A business, also known as an enterprise, agency or a firm, is an entity involved in the provision of goods and/or services to consumers. Businesses are prevalent in capitalist (one person controls) economies, where most of them are privately owned and provide goods and services to customers in exchange for other goods, services, or money.

Very good question. It should be noted that, although all businesses aim to make profit or objective for non governmental organisation, but only businesses having a strategic plan will be able to stand through the test of time as almost all businesses are competitive (rivals present), the distinction of you company is what is needed to have an edge over your competitors. This distinctive features has to be communicated to the consumer of the goods or services provided which brings us to our first strategy in business success. “MARKETING “.
Marketing is a form of communication between you and your customers with the goal of selling your product or service to them. Communicating the value of your product or service is a key aspect of marketing.
MARKETING from my own perspective is the identification of your uniqueness, thereby making this uniqueness your key-driver/advantage to creating the awareness. “I am unique and for this unique reason I should be a prefered choice, rather than an OPTION in sourcingfor alternatives. (O.S.D)
